Become a Carnival Court Member

Would you like to become Carnival Queen or Princess for 2012

The criteria are as follows:

To become Princess you should be aged over 14 and under 16 on 1st May 2012.
To become Queen you should be aged over 17 and under 22 on 1st May 2012
Applicants must have lived in the Borough of Southend-on-Sea for the last six months
Applicants must be available for Southend Carnival on June 23rd 2012 and for weekend engagements throughout 2012/13.

Applicants must be dedicated and willing to support their town, it is a great opportunity to meet new people from across the whole of Essex

The court will be selected on Saturday 25th February 2012

They will be crowned on Saturday 14th April 2012
